Wind-surfing Santa held
after he sails across US-Canada border
APF
TORONTO: A wind-surfing Santa was
arrested after strong winds took him clearly across the niagara
river and into the United States.
John Fulton, of Fort
Erie, Ontario, said that he dons a Santa suit every Christmas
season to sail across the river.
But stiff winds and strong
currents pushed him to the US side of the river - and into the
arms of US border patrol guards.
He was arrested in Buffalo
and then shipped back to Canada without incident, after signing a
form stating that he had illegally entered the United
States.
